Woodnbeds Internet Business cc initially started trading under the name of Woodnbeds in 2005 from a small retail outlet that sold mattress and base sets, in the Randburg area .
In 2006 due to the increasing interest in additional bedroom furniture, Woodnbeds established their own small factory. The focus was primarily on manufacturing custom made wooden bedroom furniture for its clientele.
Also in 2006 a website was created by a UK website developer to promote further sales.
Enquiries and sales from the website started to far outstrip sales and enquiries from the retail outlet. The ever increasing overheads for the retail outlet and factory made it apparent that client requirements and services could be improved by establishing a network of select manufacturers and Woodnbeds could concentrate on Internet based selling.
After extensive research, a group of manufacturers were selected not only to extend the ranges of products being sold but also whose quality met our exacting standards.
Woodnbeds Internet Business cc has since 2008 operated entirely off the Internet with a small showroom of selected products.
From those humble beginnings of Internet advertising and sales in 2006, and having only utilised advertising on the internet, Woodnbeds Internet Business cc, has now increased it’s clients expections extensively.
In January 2012 we made a decision to open a larger showroom in Honeydew, Gauteng and are proud to announce that our business has now expanded to KZN
